About Us

Harmony House Eatery and Bakery opened for business in 1990 from our home kitchen in the Griffin-Hays home at 1517 W. Okmulgee in Muskogee, Oklahoma. In 1992 we moved to our present location at the original Matthew-Nelson home, built in 1914.

Harmony HouseBaking begins at 5:00am every morning when we begin preparing our delicious breads, cakes, cookies and other special sweets. Our baking staff can also create birthday and wedding cakes designed especially for you and special treats for your event.

Besides lunch, which is served Monday through Saturday, 11:00am - 3:00pm, Harmony House is available for evening reservations for parties of twenty or more guests. Reasonable prices, old-fashioned service and our made-from-scratch meals and desserts make the perfect setting for all of your entertaining needs.

Our mission statement to "feed the hungry" is just that. We feed our hungry patrons and anyone that may be in need within our community. We support Monarch, Murrow Indian Children's Home, Good Shepherd Medical Clinic, Hellenic Ministries and our own local congregation on a monthly basis. God has blessed our efforts beyond expectations and to honor that blessing we are committed to serving our guests, employees and community each and every day!
